Prayatna means determined effort, Action through Determination and there’s no half measures here as the Trust and its dedicated group of Volunteers Spend hours of man hours every year teaching, spreading awareness and equipping women and children to stand on their own feet.
Prayatna is a registered NGO working in and around the slums of Malad which is a community Project initiated by Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Orlem. The Target group of Prayatna are Women, Children and Sr. Citizens staying in theses slums.
Prayatna runs Balwadi (English Nursery), Study Class, Nutrition Program, Christmas Party, Recreational Activity etc.
