USS St. Francis River LSMR-525 Hand-painted Aluminum Plaque on Triangular Wooden Base. The beautiful hand-painted metal plaque measures 10" x 8.5"; it is mounted on to a triangular hard wood base that measures 13" on all three sides. The plaque is in very good++ vintage condition showing minor age/handling wear with nicks/scuffs to the wood. The St. Francis River was a rocket firing platform commissioned just after WW2 ended; it earned 3 Battle Stars during the Korean War and 10 Campaign Stars for its Vietnam War service.
